The Chaos That Protesting Has Become

On inauguration day, I took the metro like any other day. That day I watched anti-Trump protestors physically assault non-protestors on the trains. I watched it from Little Tokyo to Downtown LA, and from Downtown LA to North Hollywood. I never had an opinion on protesting before – until I saw the violence it can bring first-hand. I’d like to cover stories centered around the public outcry that led to these events as well as riots and other backlash. I believe these times are an opportunity to see people as they truly are, and the question of whether that tears us apart or brings us together should be explored in vivid detail.
